Good news from Judy Murray since she is cautiously optimistic that Andy will come back this year and the summertime should be the right moment.
Talking to the British media, Andy’s mother commented
“It’s still early days so we will have to wait and see what happens. He is cautiously optimistic about getting back on the match court perhaps at some point over the summer.”
Then Judy added: “He was told not to do impact work, which basically means running around the garden hitting a ball, for three months but he’s been hitting against a wall from a static position.”
The organization for the upcoming ATP500 at the Queen’s Club optimistically left Andy in the waiting list, but it seems not plausible he will make it as the tournament will commence the 17th of June.
However, there are hopes of seeing Andy competing with Jamie in doubles in Wimbledon since that would not put too much pressure on his hip and the local crowd would love it.
BACK THIS SUMMER?
