27 is the magic number for Sabine Lisicki!
The world no. 19 set a huge record in the Birmingham second round against rising star Belinda Bencic. The big server is not new to setting new heights with her favorite shot to also hold the record for the fastest serve in women’s tennis history in 2014 (131 mph / 210 kmh).
Eventually Sabine won the match against Belinda 6-1 7-6 (4). Match Stats.
The comment form Sabine was rather straight forward ““It’s nice to have another record! It’s obviously a good weapon to have on grass,” Lisicki was 2014 Wimbledon runner-up (d. Bartoli).
If you think that Serena has the best serve on tour… think again!
THAT’S QUITE A WEAPON |
Yeess…with my 27 aces I’ve got another record. Too bad I missed the 131mph serve by a few inches… 😜💪ðŸ»#loveserving pic.twitter.com/fhvluN8UZ7
