Ranked no.15, the Estonian is seeded no.8 in Stuttgart where she reached the semifinal after beating Caroline Garcia 6-4 6-3, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-3 6-2, and she won the quarters after Vika Azarenka withdrew (right shoulder) when Anett was leading 5-7 7-5 3-0.
