INJURY. Stefanos Tsitsipas withdraws from the Laver Cup due to an injury

On Tuesday, the Laver Cup's officials announced that Stefanos Tsitsipas had withdrawn owing to an injury.

Stefanos Tsitsipas Injury Again

The Laver Cup’s organizers revealed on Tuesday that Stefanos Tsitsipas had pulled out due to an injury. Stefanos Tsitsipas will be replaced by backup Arthur Fils for Team Europe for the Laver Cup in Vancouver in 2023.

Laver Cup organizer announced this on Twitter: “Alternate Arthur Fils will replace Stefanos Tsitsipas on Team Europe for Laver Cup Vancouver 2023. Tsitsipas has withdrawn due to injury.”

A career-high No. 44 in the world ranking, the 19-year-old Fils has had an amazing year on the ATP Tour.
