However, things started to change since she began her partnership with Sasha Bajin that helped “informally” Kristina in Miami. Kiki reached the quarters in the next tournament in Monterrey, and she also got in the final 8 in Istanbul after she dismissed Dayana Yastremska 6-3 6-4 and Katerina Kozlova 6-1 6-2.
Petra Martic
Ranked no.40, the Croatian had a great run in Charleston after she reached the semifinal. In Istanbul, Petra got to the quarters after beating Tamara Zidanek 3-6 6-1 6-3 and Ana Bogdan 4-6 7-5 6-3.
