Rafael Nadal and Jan-Lennard Struff will face off in the quarterfinals of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell on Friday.
Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal, currently sitting at the no.2 spot seems to be in great form as he has moved on to the quarterfinals while maintaining a win-loss of 16–3. He defeated Leonardo Mayer 6-7(7) 6–4 6–2 and David Ferrer 6–3 6–3 in order to reach the quarterfinals. Some are doubting if Nadal can win the tournament citing Nadal’s sub-par performance in Monte Carlo as well as the opening match in Barcelona as to why he may not be able to pull it off.
Jan-Lennard Struff
Jan-Lennard Struff, currently sitting at the no.51 spot looks a little worse for wear than his opponent Rafael Nadal.
