Tsitsipas Donates Money To Flood Victims

Stefanos Tsitsipas, a Greek tennis star, has shown compassion and kindness by giving 100,000 euros to Thessaly flood victims in Greece.

Stefanos responded right away to the disastrous storm ‘Daniel’ by giving to the Red Cross to help people impacted by the severe floods. Since Stefanos’ father is from the Karditsa town of Proastio, which was severely affected by Greece’s devastating floods, this deed of charity has special meaning for him.

Stefanos quickly requested donations for the victims in Thessaly through social media. Tsitsipas wrote in his Instagram post: “It’s shocking to see what our country has been through lately. We showed the true Greek spirit by staying united as a fist and helping each other. Please join me in raising funds to keep everyone safe and help them return to their loving homes as soon as possible.”

Stefanos further added: “We must continue to do what we can to help our neighbors, our fellow citizens, and everyone who has been affected by the fires and floods.”
