On September 9, Coco Gauff became the first American teenager since Serena Williams to win a women’s singles title in the U.S. Open Tennis Championships. Since her debut on the tennis court at age six, Gauff has been a rising star in the sport.

Coco Gauff celebrated her US Open victory in some style and posted images on her official Instagram account with a caption: “Me and only SOME of my favorite people.”

Ranked no.3 (career-high), Gauff played her last match on the 9^th

of September when she beat world no.1 Aryna Sabalenka 2-6 6-3 6-2 in the final of the U.S. Open to win her 6^th career title.

At present, during this year the American owns a compiled 45-13 record. Gauff clinched 4 titles in 2023 in Auckland, Washington, Cincinnati and U.S. Open.
