There were about 10,000 Greek sports fans present to watch Stefanos Tsitsipas and the national tennis team compete in the Davis Cup against Slovakia for the second time.
If it were any Saturday morning, anyone walking by the Panathenaic Stadium would witness dozens of tourists eager to see the place where the first modern Olympic Games which took place in 1896 were held.
However, the Stadium’s transformation, the colorful puzzle in the stands, and the wonderful energy the crowd provided were all something special.
