When characterizing Coco Gauff’s talent and athletic journey, words such as dedicated effort, devotion, determination, and talent come to mind. The tennis player, who is 19 years old, began her professional career in 2018. In 2019, she won one singles title and two doubles trophies.
This path ultimately peaked with a career-high victory over Aryna Sabalenka at the 2023 U.S. Open. Gauff achieved what some refer to as ‘her moment’, earning $5.6 million from the match thanks to her talent and winning spirit. Although that sum is nothing to mock at, Gauff’s earnings off the court are raising the bar for how much money she is worth.
Gauff has made $11.1 million over the course of her five-year professional career, according to Forbes. She has also earned around $12 million during this time from endorsements, business ventures, and participation fees.
Gauff is now ranked no. 7 on Forbes’s list of the highest-paid tennis players, but if her winning streak is any indication, she will soon be moving up the list.
19-year-old Coco Gauff entered the U.S. Open with $8M of career WTA earnings.
She just brought home $3M for her 1st major title today.
