After winning his 24th Grand Slam title at the U.S. Open, Novak Djokovic is ready to compete in the Davis Cup later this week. Miomir Kecmanovic, a teammate from Serbia, said on Monday that the 36-year-old would give them a significant advantage.
The world’s top player will be headed to Valencia to support the Serbian squad in their Davis Cup Finals group stage matches against South Korea, Spain, and the Czech Republic, though he is most likely to play just in the final two contests.
In a recent video, Djokovic can be seen working hard in preparation for the Davis Cup following his stunning victory against Daniil Medvedev at the US Open.
