Following her first Grand Slam victory at the 2023 US Open, Coco Gauff posed for a cheerful photo alongside her coach Brad Gilbert, and his daughter Zoe.
Gauff won the US Open on Saturday, September 9, after a spectacular comeback victory over Aryna Sabalenka that took just over two hours. The American ran to the stands to embrace her family after winning. She also gave her coaches Brad Gilbert and Pere Riba warm hugs.
Gauff achieved instant success as a result of her association with Gilbert, which started during the North American hard court swing prior to the US Open, by winning her first WTA 500 title in Washington. She later won the Cincinnati Open, her first-ever WTA 1000 championship, and now she has won the US Open, her biggest career title.
Coco Gauff gladly held up her bright new trophy after winning the US Open as she posed for a photo with Brad Gilbert and his daughter Zoe. In his social media post, Gilbert identified the 19-year-old as the champion.

Now the world no.6, Coco played her last match on the 9th of September when she beat world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka 2-6 6-3 6-2 in the final of the U.S. Open to win her 6th career title.
At present, during this year Coco achieved an overall 45-13 win-loss record. The American clinched 4 titles in 2023 in Auckland, Washington, Cincinnati and U.S. Open.
