Michael Phelps applauded the US Open competitors Ben Shelton, Coco Gauff, and Carlos Alcaraz for their outstanding achievements.

American former competitive swimmer Michael Phelps is the most successful and distinguished Olympian in history with a total of 28 medals. Phelps also holds the record for the most Olympic gold medals in history.

Phelps recently expressed appreciation for young tennis players during a conversation with a US Open media representative. Phelps praised the US Open competitors Carlos Alcaraz, Coco Gauff, and Ben Shelton for their impressive performances.

Phelps stated: “The men’s side, it’s gonna be tough to beat Alcaraz. Coco’s playing great right now. It’ll be interesting to see how things mix up coming down the stretch. But a lot of studs, a lot of exciting tennis.”

He further added: “Watching Shelton last night was unbelievable. You now watching a 20-year-old kid, go out there and just have fun. You know you could see that, you could see his pure emotions his joy his excitement. It was cool.”
