Alcaraz was questioned over the compliments he received from Gauff after making it to the third round of the US Open. He replied: “We try. We try. Sometimes it’s tough to enjoy. But I try to enjoy most of the time myself on the court–Having a smile during the match, making jokes with my team.”
The Spaniard is happy that he is able to inspire her and believes that it’s crucial to have fun at every game regardless of the outcome. He added: “I don’t mind if I win or lose.”
Carlos, a young Spaniard, is well-known for his aggressive tennis play and ability to maintain a positive attitude while competing. Even when he loses, he makes sure to acknowledge the opponent’s strengths and attempts to have a positive attitude. This is a powerful testament to his personality and character.
