Ben Shelton, a young American tennis player, defeated No. 14 seed Tommy Paul in Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sunday, winning 6-4 6-3 4-6 6-4 to get to the quarterfinals of the US Open.

Bryan Shelton, father of Ben Shelton is a retired professional tennis player and a college tennis coach from the United States. Shelton achieved career achievements in 1991 and 1992, winning two singles tournaments. Together with Lori McNeil, he also advanced to the 1992 French Open mixed doubles final. On March 23, 1992, the right-hander rose to the world’s 55th position on the ATP Tour, which was also his highest doubles position.

My dad is up there. 1 of the Florida coaches.. my mom, sister, friends. Thank you all for the part that you play in this.”
