The number two seed from Belarus, Aryna Sabalenka, beat France’s Clara Burrell 6-1 6-1 in exactly one hour of play to move to the fourth round of the US Open.
The Australian Open champion had no issue defeating Burrell this time around, ending the match on the Louis Armstrong Court with 22 wins.
In a post-match interview, Sabalenka was asked: “This match took 1 hour. Are you in a rush to go somewhere?”
Sabalenka laughed and then replied: “Of course. I need to eat. I need to go for a good lunch. I’m in a rush.”
