Sabalenka defeated Jodie Anna Burrage, an unseeded British player, 6-3, 6-2 to go to the third round. Aryna will be in the new world number one if Iga Swiatek that’s not out perform at the US Open.
Sabalenka claims that she will make every effort to accomplish her dream. After the second-round win at the US Open, she said in an on-court interview: “It’s just a chance. I’m not really focusing on that. But of course, it’s going to mean a lot to me. It’s one of the goals & one of the dreams. I’ll do my best to reach my dream.”
