Monte Carlo. Novak Djokovic finally managed to have a very convincing win in the Principality after he has been struggling for some time with his tennis.
The world no.1 had an awkward win in the opening match in Monte Carlo against Philipp Kohlschreiber after he won 6-3 4-6 6-4, but that came after struggling a lot on serve. Eventually, the Serbian sensation managed to find his tennis in the 3rd round after he conceded just 3 games to Taylor Fritz (6-3 6-0).
However, Novak appeared quite nervous during the following press conference as if something is bothering him.

Talking about his match against the American, Taylor commented
“It was very challenging to play in these kinds of conditions. Taylor plays really quick and has a big serve and just flattens the ball. He doesn’t really have a clay-court game, but he has done well this tournament. Today we had five, six close games in the first set and I just managed to break his resistance mid-way in the first set. After that, obviously things went on my side, and I felt more comfortable.”
Djokovic vs. Medvedev
Nole will face Daniil Medvedev for a place in the semifinal. The head to head is 3-0 for the Serbian.
