Djokovic concedes only 3 games to Fritz in Monte Carlo

The world no.1 impresses with a great performance in the Principality

Novak Djokovic is back to his best tennis in Monte Carlo to concede just 3 games to Taylor Fritz.

The world no.1 raised some highbrows after he had an extremely awkward performance in his opening match against Philipp Kohlschreiber in Monaco. The Serbian won that match 6-3 4-6 6-4, but he didn’t impress especially after he was broken 4 consecutive times.

The match against Fritz

Nole found his range in the 3rd round against Taylor Fritz. The world no.1 was still struggling a bit on serve in the first set when he was battling in almost every game, but eventually he won the opener 6-3.

Djokovic was in full steam in the second set to finally concede just 4 points before winning the match 6-3 6-0 after 68 minutes.
