Tennis sensation, Serena Williams, sold her mansion in Bel Air, Los Angeles, for £6.2 million. In October 2017, the superstar put her property on sale but had to reduce the price by £3.1 million, to find a buyer.

Serena Williams has been living in the property for more than a decade, after purchasing it for £9 million in 2006. As per the property records, the tennis superstar bought the house under a trust, by naming Lyndrea Price, her sister as the trustee.

The mansion is incredible, as it covers a staggering three acres in the Los Angeles upmarket area. The seven bathrooms, six-bedroom property is magnificent when it comes to amenities, as it has hiking trails, extensive gardens, a swimming pool, and a salon and gym.

That’s not all, as the mansion has hardwood and marble floors, high ceilings, a sitting area, a dressing room, and a huge patio area. Built in 1935, Amit Lalji and Gregory Piechota, from Keller Williams Realty, were the listing agents. Fred Berstein, from Westside Estate Agency, was the one representing the buyer. However, Berstein refused to name the party who purchased the property from Serena Williams. According to Berstein, his clients showed interested in obtaining the mansion for a long time.

At present, Serena Williams is living with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., her daughter, moved to another property in Beverly Hills. The tennis superstar wasn’t in the country during the sale of the mansion. She joined Caroline Wozniacki, as she was hosting her bachelorette party in the Bahamas.
