Roger Federer is back on clay!
The Swiss legend decided to finally compete on the dirt this year after missing the competitions on this surface for 3 years.
Federer will stage his comeback on clay in Madrid where he has won the title 3 times in 2006, 2009, and 2012 (on blue clay). It’s not clear if Roger will also play in Rome the week after Madrid, but it’s confirmed that he will play the French Open.
In the meantime, the 20-time grand slam champion is practicing hard to get ready to Madrid, and it’s really nice seeing him sliding and grinding on clay.
Looking forward to it.
