Sascha Zverev is about to start his campaign in Monte Carlo after a rather disappointing experience in his first clay court tournament of the season in Marrakech where seeded no.1 he lost in the 2nd round to Jaume Munar 7-6 (1) 2-6 6-3.

The German sensation is seeded no.3 in the Principality where he may face 18-year-old and rising star Felix Auger Aliassime

that is having a fantastic season at his young age after he reached the final in Rio de Janeiro and the semifinal in Miami.

Auger Aliassime is a great kid. ZVEREV

During an interview in the Principality, Sascha showed his appreciation for the young Canadian to comment

“I’m very happy for him because he’s one of the most humble and nicest guys that I know. I always kind of look after him because, first of all, he’s a great player, but also because he’s an unbelievably nice kid. Canada has probably two Grand Slam champions growing up right now.”
