Roger Federer is getting ready to compete again on clay!
The Swiss sensation didn’t play on the dirt on the last 2 seasons, and he decided to stage his comeback on this surface this year, and he will fight for the title in Madrid and at the French Open.
During a recent interview, the Swiss admitted that he is completely unsure about how his performance on clay is going to be. However, he is obviously expected to give his best shot.
Why did Federer decide to play in Madrid?
The Swiss sensation elected Madrid as his first tournament since that is the play where he has his best chances against the likes of Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Roger won the title 3 times in the Spanish capital in 2006,2009, and 2012 (the last one was on blue clay).
Roger posted a picture and a video about finally training on the dirt.
