Ranked no.44, the German is having a good season after he reached the semifinal in Auckland and he conquered the 4th round in Indian Wells. Last year in Monte Carlo Jan-Lennard reached he 3rd round before losing to his dear friend Sascha Zverev 6-4 4-6 6-4.
