Daniil Medvedev Talks About Players

The tennis community is talking a lot about potential rivalries after Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic’s historic encounters at Wimbledon and Cincinnati.

Before the US Open 2023, which begins on August 28, many analysts anticipate that Alcaraz and Djokovic are going to face off in the final in New York.

Recently, Daniil Medvedev was asked about the possible match-up between Alcaraz and Djokovic in the US Open. Daniil Medvedev said he is not upset by the possibilities of a Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz final.

Medvedev stated: “I think it’s great for tennis that we have these two guys playing against each other right now. It doesn’t irritate me at all. Now they’re 1, 2 by the margin. I think they are maybe 1000, or 500 points ahead of me. I’m #3 by the margin. There’s no one behind me, at least that close. I think that’s normal when we talk about them. I do think we still talk about me. I’m not feeling too bad, but I’m going to try. The goal is, after this US Open, that we talk about me.”
