According to Forbes figures, the highest-paid tennis players in the men’s and women’s categories in 2023, are Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek. Despite their extended absences from the court, it’s interesting that Rafael Nadal, Naomi Osaka, and Emma Raducanu have all managed to crack the top 10.

Novak Djokovic now tops the annual tennis earnings list with $38.4 million in earnings over the past 12 months. The Serbian won $13.4 million in prize money and secured sponsorship deals worth over $25 million.

Carlos Alcaraz, who won his second Grand Slam trophy by defeating Djokovic in a thrilling Wimbledon final in July, is not far behind the Serb in second position. In the same time frame, the ATP World No. 1 earned $11.4 million in prizes and another $20 million or so off the court, making $31.4 million.

Iga Swiatek, a four-time Grand Slam winner and current WTA No. 1 tennis player, is ranked third overall and first among female tennis players. She has made $22.4 million in total, including $8.4 million from competition and $14 million from her extracurricular activities.

Daniil Medvedev of Russia earned $20.1 million, moving him up to fourth place on the list of tennis players who make the most money each year. The third-ranked player in the ATP has made $13 million off the court and $7.1 million in monetary awards.
