Prior to the US Open, Paula Badosa confirmed that her injured back was improving after a practice session with Stefanos Tsitsipas’ brother Petros. Badosa and her boyfriend’s younger brother worked out on Tuesday.
Badosa gave a good report on her back issue following practice. She hasn’t played since retiring due to a stress fracture in her spine suffered during her Wimbledon second-round encounter.
Additionally, Badosa joked that practicing with Tsitsipas’ brother was part of the “Tsitsidosa” arrangement. Badosa stated: “Yes, absolutely. If I date Stef, then I get Petros as a practice partner.”
After suffering a spinal stress fracture, Badosa stated that her back fitness was improving. Tsitsipas has since discussed Badosa’s good influence on his life and tennis on numerous occasions.

Ranked world no.46, Paula played her last match on the 7th of July when she had to retire when playing against world no.37 Marta Kostyuk in the 2nd round and the scoreline was 6-2 1-0 .
Presently, during this year Paula has an overall 18-9 record. Paula Badosa’s best result of the present season was reaching the semifinal in Adelaide.
Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2023
At the moment ranked no.7, the Greek played his last match on the 17th of August when he lost to world no.17 Hubert Hurkacz 6-3 6-4 in the 3rd round in Cincinnati (draw).
Presently, during this year the Greek has achieved an overall 40-15 match record. Stefanos has won 1 title in Los Cabos. The Greek reached the final at the Australian Open and Barcelona.
Tsitsipas has scheduled to play next at the U.S. Open (U.S. Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 28th of August.
