Genie Bouchard had a lousy year so far both on and off the court, but her future looks as bright as ever.
The young Canadian has a horrible 7-7 win loss record in 2015 and her image has been stained by a controversial (and not very smart) refusal of shaking hands with her opponent during the last Fed Cup.
Apparently Genies’ troubles will be forgotten and according to Sports Pro, the world no.6 is still the most marketable athlete in the world, at least for the next 3 years.
Sports Pro did its research taking in consideration 6 variables: Value for money, age, home market (USA also included for Genie?), charisma, willingness to be marketed and crossover appeal.
