Winning the Roland Garros 9 times is an unthinkable achievement and of course somebody in Paris had to celebrate it.
Tomorrow the King of Clay will be presented with the ‘Grand Vermeil’ medal by Anne Hidalgo, Paris’ Franco-Spanish Mayor. This is the highest honor in the city and the ceremony will take place at the City Hall.
The celebration will be held INfront of Parisian school children that will have the honor to see the Spaniard.
So, this year however it will go Rafa will not come back empty handed from Paris. He will start has the seed no.7 and the path ahead is quite tricky. Let’s see if he can stretch it to 10 titles… it would be even more… unthinkable!
