Alcaraz Gets Injury

During his final game against Novak Djokovic in the Cincinnati Masters in 2023, Carlos Alcaraz had a really unlucky incident.

The young Spanish phenom Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic had another epic match in Cincinnati that the tennis world will never forget. The game had the excitement that every tennis fan craves, but it also had a shocking turn.

With a quick 3-1 start in the tie-break, Djokovic appeared to have the upper hand. Alcaraz, though, remained unaffected and pulled off a stunning comeback, earning a match point at 6-5. However, the Serb won the tie-break 9-7, sending the match to a decisive round.

But the thrilling contest’s high point was yet to come. Alcaraz appeared to be bearing the weight of the moment after the second set’s emotional storm. He struck his chair with his right hand in a moment of pure passion.

The Spanish star looked for help from the physio since it appeared that he had hurt his hand during the process and needed his finger wrapped with tape right away.
