Carlos Alcaraz Comments On Other Players' Game

Carlos Alcaraz claims there is another gear he can reach before the Cincinnati semifinals this weekend after getting through another three-set match on Friday night.

The 20-year-old has struggled ever since winning the Wimbledon final in the middle of July.

Over the past month, there have been significantly more mistakes and tougher matches than usual, as spectators have become used to the Spaniard completely destroying opponents with breathtaking shots. Alcaraz has played six matches in Toronto and Cincinnati, and five of those matches have gone to a final set.

Carlos Alcaraz has discussed how he’s feeling about his game following his three-set victory over Max Purcell, where the Spaniard again went the distance for the third time in Cincinnati.

Alcaraz said it during a conversation: “I feel like I’m playing well. Obviously not my best. I can increase my level, of course. I feel the opponents, when they are playing against me, I’m going to say, well, they play a little bit better.”
