One of the youngest world no.3 in history at the age of 21, Alexander Zverev has been seeded No.1 for ATP Marrakech 2019. The right-handed tennis sensation has an 8-4 win/loss record in 2019. His recent form has been a bit patchy since he failed to go beyond the second round in the Miami and third round in the India Wells ATP tournament due to a viral illness.
He has always been a strong performer on the clay courts and has claimed it to be his favorite surface to play on.
Denis Istomin
The world no. 104, Denis Istomin might be a national hero in Uzbekistan, but his recent form has been anything but impressive. Regular injuries have marred his career and his recent record is also not very impressive, 6 wins against 9 losses in 2019. He has worked on his body to get in better shape, but the season still remains a struggle for him.
