Following the second rain-related postponement of their Cincinnati Open match, Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz were seen conversing on television.

Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz were seen on television interacting after their Cincinnati Open match was postponed a second time due to rain.

When the weather intervened in their conflict, the world No. 1 was serving at 4-3 in the fourth set. And after returning to the court less than an hour later, they were compelled to leave right away. They walked back to the locker room together and had a private conversation there. When play was restarted, Alcaraz had won 7-6, 6-7, 6-3.

Both players came back less than an hour later, but as soon as they reached the baseline, the weather altered a second time.

Paul and Alcaraz were instructed to wait in the warm-up area. The lovely scene was captured on TV cameras as Paul waited for Alcaraz in the hallway the two of them walked back together while talking.
