Amanda Anisimova reaches the 2nd round in Bogota after an excellent victory over a revived Sabine Lisicki.

The young American had to crawl back from a 1-set-down deficit before defeating the German in 3 sets. The key moment of the match was in the decider when both players were struggling to hold serve. Eventually, it was Anisimova to manage to “stay solid” and conquer the last 4 games after the pair was locked on a 2-all scoreline. The American won 4-6 6-3 6-2 in 1 hour and 32 minutes.
