Bogota. Amanda Anisimova and Sabine Lisicki will play against each other in the 1st round of the WTA Bogota 2019.
They are scheduled to play their first-round match at the Cancha Central court. The match is expected to start after 7 PM.
Amanda Anisimova
For the first time in her career, Amanda Anisimova has been seeded 6th for a WTA Tournament. The 17-year old tennis sensation is enjoying a good season but has not yet proven herself on the clay court. This is in fact going to be her first major match on the red surface.
Here recent form has been impressive as she managed to reach the 4th round at the Australian Open. Although, there are some flaws visible in her game, she has so far shown that she is ready to compete with the best.
Sabine Lisicki
The former world no. 12 had to take her third WTA main draw wild card for Bogota 2019. Her career has been marred with injuries and her form in the current year is nothing noteworthy. She has been unable to win even a single set in her last five matches.
H2H Amanda Anisimova vs Sabine Lisicki
This will be the first time that Amanda and Sabine would face-off against each other. Unless Lisicki is able to pull off something extraordinary, Amanda is expected to win this contest easily despite some flaws in her game that need to be ironed out.
