Rublev In Tears

Andrey Rublev is a highly sensitive player. The Russian cries regularly when things look hopeless for him and wears his heart on his sleeve. It was the same last night at the Cincinnati Open as he faced up against Emil Ruusuvuori.

Nick Kyrgios, an Australian tennis player, however, poked fun at him after Rublev’s response went viral online. Over the past few weeks, Nick Kyrgios has regularly been in the news. The Australian actor is very active on social media, and his comments regularly upset followers.

This time, Kyrgios made fun of Antoine Rublev and posted:Funny for some it’s ‘raw’ & ‘showing emotions’.”

In the video, Rublev can be seen struggling to hold back his tears as he sits down during a break in the third set. When the match entered a decider, each player had taken one set. Rublev, who had previously broken down over losing leads, sobbed into his towel.
