The world No. 1 said he needs to “improve a lot of things” after Tommy Paul upset Carlos Alcaraz in the Canadian Open for the second consecutive year.
Alcaraz had a very disappointing Toronto tournament and he was frustrated over his performance. He is currently world no. 1 after defeating tennis legend Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon on July 16.
Alcaraz is now in full swing to prepare for Cincinnati at the end of this month and to defend his title at US Open.
He was recently spotted practicing without a shirt on, so it appears he’s had enough work this season to prepare for his matchup with Cincinnati’s tennis champions.
