Madison Keys and Caroline Wozniacki will have the chance to play for the VOLVO CAR OPEN title in Charleston.
Madison Keys
Ranked no.18, the American was having a rather disappointing start of the season after she lost in the 4th round in Melbourne before crashing out in the opening match in both Indian Wells and Miami. However, Madison found her groove in Charleston where she reached the final after beating Tatjana Maria 7-6 (5) 4-6 6-4, Jelena Ostapenko 7-5 6-2, Sloane Stephens 7-6 (6) 4-6 6-2 and Monica Puig 6-4 6-0.
Caroline Wozniacki
Currently ranked no.13, Caroline was also struggling in 2019 before Charleston since her best result was reaching the 4th round in Miami. Similarly to Madison, she found her way in Charleston where she reached the final after beating Laura Siegemund 6-2 6-2, Mihaela Buzarnescu 6-4 3-6 6-3, Maria Sakkari 6-2 6-2, and Petra Martic 6-3 6-4.

This is the 3rd time that Madison and Caroline play each other. The head to head is 2-0 for Wozniacki that has never conceded a set to the American so far.
