WORLD NO.1. Why Stefanos Tsitsipas thinks he has a chance

Stefanos doesn't hide his desire to be the best player in the world

Stefanos Tsitsipas

At 20 years of age, Stefanos Tsitsipas is already ranked no.8. Even if there is a huge gap between him and the world no.1 Novak Djokovic (almost 8,000 points), the Greek has only a deficit of 820 points vs. Roger Federer in the Year to Date rankings (the Swiss is no.1 in this log). This small gap means that if Stefanos steps up a bit more, he might have a shot at the top of the rankings.

I want to be the world no.1. TSITSIPAS

Stefanos has recently graced the cover page of the Greek Magazine Downtown, and he confessed his world no.1 dreams to say

I think about reaching No 1 each day. When you are in the top 10, the chances are bigger and that you are so close to the top. It would be a shame not to maximize that chance to the fullest.

Stefanos will start his clay court campaign in 2 weeks in Monte Carlo.
