Many tennis supporters were thrilled to see Jannik Sinner win his maiden Masters 1000 championship at the Canadian Open.
On Sunday in Toronto, Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur 6-4, 6-1 to win the tournament’s title. With his victory at the Canadian Masters 1000, Jannik Sinner became the tournament’s youngest champion since 2017’s 20-year-old Alexander Zverev.

Ranked no.8 (career-high), Sinner played his last match on the 13th of August when he beat world no.18 Alex De Minaur 6-4 6-1 in the final in Toronto to win his 8th career title.
