Sascha Zverev, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Fabio Fognini will get 3 wildcards for the upcoming ATP250 in Marrakech.

Why Sascha Zverev decided to play in Marrakech

The world no.3 is willing to have more matches under his belt before engaging in Monte Carlo where he reached the semifinal. The German will be seeded no.1 and he will be the hot favorite to win the tournament even if he is not having a fantastic 2019 so far. Sacha has been training hard with his brother Mischa in Monaco to prepare the clay court season.

Zverev’s schedules

After Marrakech, Sascha will play he will play Monte Carlo, Munich, Madrid, Rome, French Open, Halle, and Wimbledon.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Ranked no.114 Jo-Wilfried is struggling to get back to his tennis after his knee operation that he hah in April 2018. However, the Frenchman managed to win a tournament this year in Montpellier to get some more confidence in his tennis.

Fabio Fognini

Ranked no.18, the Italian is struggling to find his best form in 2010. He has a 4-7 win-loss record this year and he has lost 6 of his last 7 matches.

Marrakech defending champion

The Defending champion is Pablo Andujar and the tournament will start on the 7th of April.
