PICKLEBALL. Andy Murray, Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev express their opinion on the new sport

Four of the top tennis players in the ATP found themselves having an interesting conversation about the "sport" that has been making waves: pickleball.

Players Comment On New Game Pickleball

At the Canadian Open, four of the top tennis players in the ATP found themselves engaging in an intriguing discussion about the “sport” that has been making waves: pickleball.

The open discussion, which was a component of the “Guess the Google” game, revealed the surprising connection between these two racquet-wielding worlds.

The great Andy Murray was the first to share his opinions, offering an open-minded opinion and saying: “I’m not a massive fan of it to be honest.”

He undoubtedly set the tone for what was to come with his comments. Andrey Rublev followed, pointing out a potential cause of the argument, and said: Because it’s just a new sport that is already on the top of the search.”

Finally, Casper Ruud compared Pickleball to a “baby brother of tennis,” drawing comparisons with the natural desire to “pick on your baby brother and said: Kind of feels like Pickleball is the baby brother of Tennis. So, you know, you always pick on your baby brother, don’t you?.”
