How my life changed. COLLINS
Following her successful match against Kaia Kanepi at the Volvo Car Open, Danielle had an interesting talk with the Tennis Channel when she also elaborated on how her life changed after the Australian Open
“I think maybe more people know who I am and recognize me and I feel like I’ve definitely gained a lot of supporters and fans which has been really nice.
[I am also] having a lot of people come out and support me at matches. It’s just different you know a couple of years ago I was playing like 60 Ks and 25Ks in the middle of nowhere where there’d be like two or three people that would show up.
So it’s so nice to have a strong following and people that are supporting me.”
