Monte Carlo. Sascha and Mischa Zverev are about to start their campaign on clay after a not-so-great start of their 2019 season.

Sascha Zverev’s 2019

The world no.3 didn’t have a fantastic start of his 2019 especially after the expectations following his great run at the ATP Finals in London where he won the most prestigious title of his young career.

In 2019, the German crashed out in the 4th round of the Australian Open before reaching the final in Acapulco. Things got sideways for Zverev at the Sunshine Double after he won only 1 match in both tournaments following his defeat in the 3rd round in Indian Wells and the opening match in Miami.

The German sensation will try to improve last year’s performance in Monte Carlo where he reached the semifinal before losing in 3 sets to Key Nishikori.

Mischa Zverev’s 2019

Ranked no.72, the talented German has a 1-4 win-loss record, and the only match he won was in Miami after Nicholas Khun had to withdraw in the 3rd set. The last time that Zverev won a complete match was in the 1st round in Cincinnati back in August 2018.

Mischa reached the 3rd round in Monte Carlo last year before surrendering to Richard Gasquet.
