Stefanos Tsitsipas loves spending his time vlogging. According to the world no.8 it’s a very time-consuming hobby, but it could be also very therapeutic.
The Greek sensation posted a high-quality vlog talking also about a place that has a special place in his heart: Anegada.
Why Tsitsipas became emotional?
Apparently, Stefanos had to seek refuge last year after a tough loss in the US. The Greek was extremely emotional to say
“I was surrounded by hate, criticism, and antipathy after my loss in the US that year. People threatening me, treating me like I was the worst human alive and making my thoughts feel miserable. That [Anegada] was my getaway to all my problems. That was the place that provided my shelter, food, serenity and peace to all my problems in which there was a big misunderstanding at that time.
I was frustrated and disturbed, but I remember saying to myself that people don’t really know who the real Stefanos is.
Something definitely I didn’t know was that they are about to find who is the real Stefanos.”
Was Tsitsipas referring to his loss to Medvedev in Miami?
Stefanos was probably referring to his overreaction against Daniil Medvedev in Miami after he was so frustrated to insult the Russian at the net in the heat of the moment.
That was a little of a blow to Stefanos’ image, but as he said the tennis fans were about to learn who the real Stefanos is in the following months.
Another nice vlog indeed.
