Serena Williams is arguably the greatest player of all time (GOAT) after all her achievements and her 23 slams.

The American has always demonstrated her self-confidence and she went a bit overboard when she tried to stage a spectacular comeback after an extremely dangerous and complicated pregnancy that was jeopardizing her life.

The American legend won the 2017 Australian Open while she was pregnant and she was determined to defend her title the following year, but she couldn’t make it since her body went through an extremely complicated period.

Eventually, Serena managed to find her form, and she reached the final in Wimbledon in 2018 before losing a controversial final at the US Open.

During the popular Today Show, Serena had a lovely interview talking about many things to share also the feelings she had when losing to Naomi Osaka during the 2018 US Open final.

Serena commented

“Obviously Grand Slams are most important to me, I was really close last year, so close.

Literally, just back from having the baby, looking back, I don’t know how I did that. And I had the audacity to be upset when I didn’t win, and I’m like, ‘Why am I angry? This is beyond amazing.’”
