Carlos Alcaraz revealed to the media that he has displayed his Wimbledon trophy in his living room at home since it is something he does not want to forget. As his American summer hardcourt season gets underway, Alcaraz is making sure that he utilizes every available motivation.
Alcaraz revealed this during a conversation: “I have the trophy in my living room over there (so) that every time that I have lunch, have dinner with my family, I see the trophy. It’s something that I (don’t want) to forget. I had just a week to think about it. I had not too much time. And I think I needed a little bit more because it’s something that is crazy to realize.”
He further added: “Honestly, for me, winning Wimbledon at 20 years old is something that I dreamed about when I started playing tennis.”
The Spaniard said that he still finds it difficult to believe that, at such a young age, he has won two Grand Slam titles, but he also said that he has worked very hard to be where he is.
