Fantastic news for the tennis fans in Basel after it was confirmed that Roger Federer, Alexander Zverev, and Stan Wawrinka will play the ATP500 this year.
Roger Federer’in Basel
The Swiss Maestro won the home tournament on 9 occasions (2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018) and he was the runner-up 5 times (2000, 2001, 2009, 2012, 2013).
Last year, Roger won the title after beating an in-form Marius Copil 7-6 (5) 6-4.
Stan Wawrinka in Basel
Stan hasn’t managed to reach a final yes in Basel. The last time that he played this tournament was in 2016 when he lost in the quarters to Mischa Zverev.
Sascha Zverev in Basel
The German reached the semifinal last year in Basel after before losing by Marius Copil 6-3 6-7 (6) 6-4.
