Kyrgios to play his idol Federer

Nick Kyrgios will play his childhood (well few years ago) hero Roger Federer in Madrid.

The Australian defeated Gimeno-Traver 6-2 6-3 in the opener to play Roger in the second round.

Kyrgios: Roger is the greatest

Nick is very happy to confront the world no.2 “Roger is the greatest of all time,” Kyrgios said of the world No 2. I’m not going to do anything different to prepare. I’m just going to go out there, play my game and whatever happens, happens.

If I go down, or if I win, I’m going to do it the same way as I always have.”

Roger and Nick have already spent a week together last year when Nick confessed he had an “epic experience”. Will it be the same tomorrow?
