Rafael Nadal keeps on stunning the tennis community and his fans with his frequent and successful comebacks.

The Spanish legend has been battling with all sorts of injuries for most of his outstanding career, but it seems that his body can’t really take it anymore.

Even if Nadal has beeing displaying amazing tennis level, he often struggles to complete a tournament on hard courts and recently he had to withdraw from the semifinal in Indian Wells before playing against Roger Federer before deciding not to compete at all at the Miami Open.

Nadal is back to Mallorca to get ready for another successful clay court season. Rafa’s body reacts pretty well on the dirt, and the Spanish legend still has fuel in the tank to break more records on his favorite surface.

The King of Clay will play next in Monte Carlo where he has won the tournament 11 times!

Uncle Toni about Nadal’s injuries and retirement

During a recent interview with El Pais, Toni commented

“The most important thing is that they [top players] appreciate and respect each other, something very necessary. And Rafael wants to continue playing, despite his physical problems.

That is what will continue to be decisive. Until then, who knows. Maybe two or three more years. What I’m saying is that Rafael is not a tennis player, he’s an injured person who plays tennis, and that’s very difficult.”
